Started her musical studies in her hometown Trondheim, Norway with the recorder as main instrument. She later continued her studies in The Netherlands with Reine-Marie Verhagen at the School of arts in Utrecht , then with Marion Verbruggen and Sebastien Marq at The Hague Royal Conservatory where she obtained the degree “master of music” with distinction in 1998.
During her studies she also picked up the baroque-oboe as a main instrument and did her bachelor of music in 2002 in the class of Ku Ebbinge .
She is active both as recorder – and oboe player in orchestras like The Norwegian Baroque Orchestra, Capriccio Basel, Il Complesso Barocco, Divino Sospiro, Ensemble Baroque du Léman and in chamber music ensembles (Tours in Japan, Norway, France and Switzerland), and she has also performed as soloist with The Norwegian Baroque Orchestra at the international festival of music in Bergen, Norway.
She is teaching recorder and baroque oboe at the conservatory of Vevey-Montreux-Riviéra, and at diverse summer-courses.
