Born in Madrid in 1984, Pablo Garrido obtained his degree in baroque cello and chamber music in the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional of Toulouse under the tutorship of Alain Gervreau and Tormod Dalen. After having attended a full course of baroque cello with Bruno Cocset at l’Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), Barcelona, he was awarded an artist diploma with an excellent grade in 2011 and in 2013 a Master of arts in the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève, Switzerland, where he continues his specialization in viola da gamba with Guido Balestracci.

He was selected to be the 1st cello in the Orchestre baroque français des Jeunes, directed by Paul Agnew in 2009 and for the Academy of the Festival d’art lyrique d’Aix-en- Provence in 2011 for the production Acis and Galatea of Haendel, directed by Leonardo García Alarcón.
