Natacha Catusse

started playing the violin at age six. She began her career at the Saint-Gaudens music school in the Southwest of France and entered the C.N.R Grenoble at the age of 17 where she obtained a Diploma in Music Study. She then studied modern violin at H.E.M under Margarita Piguet-Karafilova while following  Advanced Training for Chamber Orchestra Musicians at C.N.R. Nantes, led by Charles Frey.

Her passion for early music led to studies under Florence Malgoire at the Centre de Musique Ancienne in Geneva and in 2010, she finished her course of studies with a Master in interpretation of baroque violin.

In November 2009, she participated in the Orchestre Français des Jeunes-Baroque as soloist under the direction of Paul Agnew and was in various groups at the Abbey of Royaumont, at the Academie d’Ambronay, Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu …

She plays in the Ensemble Baroque du Léman and with Les Paladins – Paris, but also appears in various groups in the Geneva region and Switzerland.  She plays the viola as well as the violin.
